Well, most of my time is spent with this little lady--6 weeks old!
And I can't help but get camera silly.
But I did, in fact, get in front of my sewing machine!
I got the tutorial on Pinterest, and the fabric is from Joel Dewberry's heirloom line. The inside is a light grey minky. I thought it would be a good plan because, as the Starks say, winter is coming.
Don't you just love those first smiles? So precious
ReplyDeleteShe's a cutie! Great project, and so practical for your time of life. I often think that I wish I was a sewist when my kids were really little! Oh the cute things I would have made. :)
ReplyDeleteWow congratulations! For some reason your posts haven't been showing up in my reader so I am very out of touch. Hope all is going well with you and i am amazed you have sewn anything at all!
ReplyDeleteThis was on my list too. Was it easy to finish?
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, Just found your blog so will add it to my favourites bar. A baby, quilting and a blog, good for you. Hopefully we will see you Thanksgiving weekend, Zach, Heather and the girls will be here. Auntie Linda
ReplyDeleteToooooo cute!!! How do you get anything done if you've got those beautiful eyes to look into and cheeks to nomnomnom? :-)
