That title describes exactly how I felt last Friday. I stayed up until--I kid you not--three in the morning to finish a quilt for my SIL. Not that the baby will be here for two more months, but I bought a multistage gift (everything from maternity wear to baby wear) and I wanted her to get it all at once. And recall the day before I was feverishly working to finish
this baby quilt.
This means that last year I made 6 quilts, and this month I've made two!!!
So, without further ado, here it is!

It's based on this tutorial. |

I backed it with Moda Snuggles. Soft,
but messy and tough to work with. |
Your baby quilt looks wonderful. Great job of quilting with the stretchy back!
ReplyDeleteThe baby quilt is lovely! And great job on the quilting.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is very sweet. Should be loved.
ReplyDeleteThe baby quilt is so sweet. And wow - I love that ambitious quilting!
ReplyDeleteThat baby quilt is beautiful, love the quilting on it. And yes, that stretchy fabric is so hard, but baby will love it!
ReplyDeleteYour baby quilt is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteWow!! That's a fabulous baby quilt. :D That minky backing is so snuggly, but yeah - tougher to work with. I was really surprised at how much the consistency of the stitches in my free motion quilting on "regular" quilts improved after working on a minky-backed quilt! nice bonus ;D
